Color Coated Shears "How to keep them like New"

Today the new trend is Beautiful Coated Shears for Both Pet Groomers and Beautician Stylists.   At many of the Grooming and Beauty Trade Shows you see Vendors with very eye catching color coated convex shears.  Many of those shears are rainbow, blue, pink, green, black and many more.

The Stylists and Groomers pay top dollar for their Titanium Coated Convex Shear.  The last thing they want is for the first sharpener who walks through the door to either Rub off that Gorgeous Finish while sharpening the shear to keep it in its Convex format,  OR  the other choice many sharpeners have is to not touch the pretty finish but instead to put a Micro Bevel edge on a Convex edge shear. (not the same edge as you had when they were new)

Our Belief at the Clipper Shack is to "Do No Harm to the Shear"  That's why we designed our unique system the Ez-Vex.   This is a I.D. Sharpening Hone that allows the Sharpener to work from inside the wheel which creates and leaves a TRUE convex edge on the convex shear.   The finish remains beautiful and like new.

Keeping the shear edge as the factory made it is VERY important.  The Ez-Vex can put a true convex edge on a convex shear and a TRUE bevel edge on a bevel styled shear.   If a sharpener changes the configuration of the Groomer / Stylists Shear, he is doing harm.
